The Abell family while still growing Avocados
in their home town of Mildura during the 1970’s began
using the Californian made AVOPICK pickerhead when harvesting
Avocados. Since this time the AVOPICK has continued to be
available to Australian Avocado and Mango growers, and remains
one of our specialty products.
Wells & Wade
Harvest Equipment is a division of Superior Fruit Equipment in
Wenatchee, Washington State in the USA, the "heart of the
fruit growing region of the Pacific Northwest". They pride
themselves on manufacturing the highest quality tools available
to the professional fruit industry. The products are sold through
stocking dealers located in the various fruit growing regions
of the world.
Wells & Wade Harvest Equipment was founded
in Wenatchee, Washington in 1922 and the tools have been in continuous
production for more than 80 years. In 1995, Wells & Wade
became a member of the Superior Fruit Equipment family. The products
serve the professional agricultural market, catering to the grape,
nut and tree fruit industries across the USA, Canada, Mexico,
Chile, Europe, and of course with Maliky Distributors in Australia
and New Zealand.
